I have this thing for KFC cole slaw, so when I got this recipe and was told it tastes just like it I had to try it for myself. Thanks to Nancy for the recipe, this is SO easy, you are supposed to chill it but of course I couldn't wait that long!
Cole Slaw
8 cups cole slaw (I used 1 bag) run a knife through it until it is very small
1/4 cup carrot, shredded small (the bag had carrots so I didn't use these)
2 tablespoons onion, cut very small (didn't have onion)
mix the above
stir the next ingredients:
1/3 cup sugar
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup mayo
1/4 cup buttermilk (or use 1/4 cup milk, 1 teaspoon vinegar)
1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar
2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
Pour over the slaw and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight.
